The Little Company That Did


Badger got its start in 1982 as a little company that hauled paper
processing machinery and farm equipment to the West Coast, with lumber
loads on return trips. Just before the company jumped into heavy haul, it had
one company truck, three trailers and two owner-operators.

That was 1994. We worked our way up from there, adding and customizing specialized equipment, company drivers,
owner-operators and customers. In 1997, a major player in wind energy development contacted us about a challenging load.
We took it on, and we've been a heavy haul partner of choice in the industry ever since.

In 2008, Broadwind Energy acquired Badger, increased our trailer fleet by 30 percent. Today, we have a keen eye on wind but continue to
roll for companies in diverse heavy industries.
